Not just Rajamouli, there’s 22 yr old too

It’s going to be real proud moments that our own Rajamouli is going to the prestigious Cannes Film Festival 2016 which began in France on 11th May. He will be a part of panel discussions on VR and also the international cut of ‘Baahubali’ will be screened on 16th May.

Not only Rajamouli, a 22-year old young film maker, Varun Chopra is also going to Cannes Film Festival with his 14-minute documentary titled ‘God On a Leash’. His documentary is based upon two art forms of India, ‘Madari’ and ‘Behrupiya’.

These two art forms are devoted to the monkey god, Hanuman in which there is reversal of roles. In ‘Madari’, the monkeys imitate the humans after undergoing training and in ‘Behrupiya’, human beings imitate monkeys. This young Indian based film maker is the youngest at Cannes this year.
