Not So Powerful Title for Deverakonda

Like we say , ‘Face is the index of the mind’, a the title of a movie conveys a lot of things at the first glance. Vijay Devarakonda’s next to be directed by Rahul Samaritan and co-produced by GA2 and UV Creations is titled ‘Taxiwala’. Not an interesting title. Right?

Vijay Devarakonda’s latest blockbuster ‘Arjun Reddy’ had a strong title that emanated boldness and raw feel which sank well with the reel-life character he essayed in the movie. Though ‘Reddy’ denotes a particular community, in the title it was used only for giving that rough feel to his character.

One of his next movies is titled ‘Ye Mantra Vesave’, a soft title but seems interesting. But, in the case of ‘Taxiwala’, it’s otherwise and it looks a bit outdated, even. Nonetheless, it’s the content that rules at the end of the day and let’s hope that the content speaks louder than the weak title.
