A political thriller when done well usually is an exciting watch. It is the reason why one is the eagerness in the first place. Well, maybe that waiting has made the trailer give an underwhelming feeling. But, a close observation would give a clear picture. It is the cliches tropes visible all over the trailer that gives that effect. Still, with the right execution, NOTA could be everything one hopes it to be. The making and production values are good and it’s nice to see Vijay Deverakonda back in an aggressive mode in what looks like a totally serious movie.
Check out the trailer below. Anand Shankar directs NOTA. It is a bilingual made in Tamil and Telugu. The Telugu trailer makes it clear that it is a Tamil primary movie being dubbed into Telugu with suitable modifications. NOTA is expected to hit screens all over in October first week.
