Notorious- 40K fake iPhones caught

Chinese are notoriously famous for their fake items manufacture. There were at times people believe ‘Made in china’ tag stands for a duplicate item. Adding more padding to that notion, a Beijing based company was caught making more than 40000 fake Apple iPhones.

The bounty costs about $19.6 million and the phones were assembled with old phone mainboards from other countries and fake parts with logos. The company manufactured these fake phones by hiring hundreds of workers to assembly these parts.

These fake phones were exported to various countries and were sold as real. Most of the sales are reportedly online via cheaper deals. The Police have a arrested nine suspects and found six assembly lines and more than one million cell phone parts in the company’s factory.
