NRIs in Canada hit Gandhi statue with shoes!

In a shocking incident, two NRIs have slapped a statue of Mahatma Gandhi in Winnipeg a city in Manitoba, Canada about 850 km west of Ontario. One of them are from South India and other is from Punjab. They have did that on Independence day and uploaded it on Facebook on the same day.

They reportedly did that against some controversial decision of Gandhiji during the partition, ignoring his leadership which led to attaining the freedom from 200 years of British Rule.

The video of this shameful incident is doing rounds in social media with people having different opinions on the incident. But most of the people condemn the incident saying that they brought disgrace to the country in foreign land.
