Now, Bunny’s Pushpa 2 must have been released on the 15th of August and made the most of the Independence Day weekend.
Instead, we had Double Ismart and Mr Bachchan which are slow starters. Particularly in Hindi, Stree 2 which released yesterday posted in the vicinity of Rs 50 crore nett in India on the opening day. This is an extraordinary number for a non-superstar film.
Going by the number posted by Stree 2, one can only imaging the havoc Pushpa 2 could have create in Hindi had it released on the 15th of August.
What has essentially happened is that both Tarak and Bunny have burnt the two golden dates of the year and are arriving in a belate manner towards the end of the year.
