January 8th seems to be ruled out as of now and new date, as many have expected, January 13 is being locked for the film. The makers haven’t confirmed one date as official though and have kept it ambiguous by simply claiming Nannaku Prematho as Sankranthi release.
An official date is expected to be announced once the unit returns to Hyderabad after completing the current schedule in Spain. It will most likely be at the audio launch which means fans have to wait a little longer to be fully relaxed with release date.
