The Osaka film festival that will soon be going on in Japan has brought some good news for the south Indian film industry. It seems that NTR Jr.’s Baadshah will be played at the festival on the last day. The film had been a decent hit here in 2013 and NTR’s fans are very pleased by this development. The social networks are buzzing around with this news. Apparently, this movie is the only South Indian film to be screened at the event and the only other Indian film to do that is Farhan Akhtar’s ‘Bhaag Milka Bhaag’.
This should not come as a surprise since NTR Jr. enjoys a lot of popularity in Japan. After Rajinikanth, he is the most recognized Indian personality there. Sairo Sairo song became a huge hit in Japan and several videos in Youtube posted by Japanese folks dancing for the song tunes. As for Osaka film festival, it will run from March 7th to the 16th.
