Teaser Talk: Slightly Better Than Expected

Sometimes having the worst expectations helps the cause, because anything slightly better than imagined could be seen alright. It is precisely what happens in the case of Officer, directed by Ram Gopal Varma.

Officer is a big film bringing Nagarjuna and Ram Gopal Varma together for the fourth time after few iconic movies. However, the anticipation is less due to the form of RGV. It is for this reason; the teaser appears fine. There is a hope for a narrative and action looks okay. Nagarjuna could have been shown better in few frames, but that isn’t as an issue of now. Overall, there is a promise, albeit a small one, of an engaging fare if there is a gripping drama on screen. Repetition of few shots from previous films is a nice touch.
