Official: Master Worldwide Release Date Locked

The most hyped-up film of the year, Vijay starrer Master’s release date is officially confirmed. The makers announced the date today, and it’s on January 13th, 2021. The fans and trade already knew the date, but it is only today that its made final.

Master will be the first pan-India release for Tamil star Thalapathy Vijay. It will hit in cinemas simultaneously in Telugu and Hindi along with Tamil on January 13th, 2021. It is called Vijay The Master in Hindi.

The combination of Lokesh Kanagaraj high on the success of Khaithi (Khaidi in Telugu) and Vijay on a phenomenal streak of hits has resulted in tremendous hype for Master. The music by Anirudh and trailer is a huge plus. It is the most awaited Tamil movie since its announcement. The long delay has only increased expectations.

The makers and exhibitors had a meet recently over the release of Master. They have jointly requested the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister for 100 percent occupancy of theatres. A final decision will be taken soon. If the movie gets permission, it is sure to set new records all over.

In Telugu, however, Master will face stiff competition. It will have four movies to deal with from its second day. Still, it is advantageous for Master as it gets a solo opening day and is the first biggie to hit the screens after a long gap.
