The advance bookings for the most-awaited Pawan Kalyan movie, OG, have commenced across the Telugu states. While things are going smoothly in Telangana, each new show opening in Andhra Pradesh is adding to the confusion. Here’s why?
Coming to the issue that relates to the respective Telugu states’ GOs with regard to the commencement of shows, there is a clear difference between Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The former’s GO states show starting from 1 AM on September 25th, whereas the latter clearly states the possibility of Paid Premieres starting from 9 PM on September 24th itself.
It’s here that chaos is visible across the movie in the Telugu states among people who are seeking to watch OG FDFS. In Andhra Pradesh, the earliest shows as of now are scheduled at 1 AM. What this means is that there would be a considerable gap between early shows of OG in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. If the latter doesn’t change its timing, it means there would be a big gap between the first shows in the Telugu states.
Given such a scenario, the fans are trending, requesting and pushing the makers relentlessly to consider having early paid premiere shows for OG in Andhra Pradesh as well. Only in this way could things commence smoothly across the board. However, as the bookings for midnight shows have already started and more are opening across various territories, there is an increasing doubt whether the makers are even listening to the fans’ plea.
There are conflicting reports about the possibility of paid premiere shows in Andhra Pradesh. However, close sources say that they are more likely to happen than not. If that is the case, what happens to the midnight shows (1 AM) is likely to be seen.
Whatever the eventuality, the lack of clear thinking and planning with respect to the timing of the first shows and the total number of shows in Andhra Pradesh from the makers has caused an uproar among the fans. They are aghast with the GO the makers have come up with and are trending nonstop to come up with a revised GO. If that happens, it would be a first for a biggie in Telugu. We have to see if the team goes ahead with the change and satisfies the fans, or sticks to their original GO and disappoints them.
The prices for premieres and ticket hikes according to GO’s issued in the two Telugu states are as follows.
