In a massive celebration of Telugu pride, Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy formally unveiled a magnificent, 23-foot bronze statue of legendary actor and former Chief Minister Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao.
The high-profile ceremony took place at the bustling Maitrivanam Crossroads in Ameerpet today. It aligns perfectly with Sr NTR’s milestone 103rd birth anniversary, drawing thousands of passionate fans, film personalities, and local political figures.
The structural installation fulfills a significant electoral promise made by CM Revanth Reddy during his previous campaign trails in the Jubilee Hills constituency.
Constructed under the close supervision of local leadership, the massive monument now stands as a permanent landmark in the heart of Hyderabad. It honors NTR’s historic contributions to both Indian cinema and regional public welfare.
Addressing a massive public gathering at the venue, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy strongly rejected critics who questioned a Congress leader leading the tribute for the TDP founder.
The Chief Minister firmly asserted that a titan like Annagaru belongs to the entire Telugu collective identity. He stated that a leader of his stature cannot be restricted to any single political party or faction.
