Hit film remake: Crew, locked and loaded!

After lots of talk throughout the year, finally the remake of successful film Ok Bangaram has been officially confirmed. Karan Johar who presented Baahubali in Hindi will be the producer for the film.

In an official announcement producer Karan Johar said that the remake cast would be headed by Aditya Roy Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor. This is the same pair which gave the sensational blockbuster Aashiqui 2 in the past. The remake will be directed by Shaad Ali who has in the past directed another Mani Ratnam classic Sakhi.

Musically the combination of Rahman and Gulzar will be back again with the latter additionally taking the responsibility of writer as well. The remake is expected to go onto sets as soon as the lead actors are free with their respective commitments.
