Not getting right combo for hit film remake!

Remember the film Ok Bangaram starring Dulquer Salmaan and Nithya Menen in lead, a remake for this film is threatening to happen ever since the original’s release but so far it hasn’t got to sets yet.

Actors like Sonakshi Sinha, Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Adithya Roy Kapoor, Shradha Das etc have been attached to this remake at various points but so far no pair has been confirmed to star in this urban love story. Things have reached to a stage that the makers are mulling over getting the original cast for remake as well.

In the past, another film Vettai (remade in Telugu as Thadaka) too faced similar problems with casting and was eventually shelved completely. Will Ok Bangaram too have similar fate?
