Trailer Talk: Dialogues Impress –Visuals Depress

The theatrical trailer of Manchu Manoj’s new film Okkadu Migiladu is out. It is without any doubt an interesting choice of subject but is complete justice given to it as a movie?

The trailer impresses us with the dialogues. The one about the difference between a revolutionary and terrorist is good. But the visuals that are associated with it are anything but impressive. It has nothing to do with the content on display, but more about the execution which lacks gravitas for such a deadly subject. Watch out the trailer of Madras Café for comparison.

Check out the trailer below. Manchu Manoj will be seen in a dual role-playing the revolutionary and a common man. Ajay Andrews Nuthakki directs Okkadu Migiladu. It is slated to hit screens all over on September 8th.
