One more mega announcement for Samanta?

Last year Samanta had as many as five Telugu film releases but only ‘Manam’ was a block buster hit and ‘Alludu Seenu’ though declared hit wasn’t cost effective as per the verdict of trade analysts. ‘Rabhasa’ with NTR, ‘Autonagar Surya’ with Chaitu and ‘Sikander’ with Surya were box-office duds. At the end of the year 2014, Samanta was left with only one film on sets and that is Trivikram-Bunny’s film.

Naturally, cine observers opined that Samanta’s concentration moved on to Tamil industry when she was confirmed for Dhanush’s next with VIP’s team (‘Raghuvaran B Tech’ in Telugu). The latest update on Sam’s schedule in TFI is out that Sammy is going to play the love interest of Ram Charan Tej’s in his upcoming movie with Srinu Vaitla.

Though this news isn’t official, one can see this might be true as Samantha hasn’t accepted any Telugu film offers to go on floors in the new year and has her call sheets are free for Cherry’s movie. After ‘Dookudu’, this would be her second movie with Vaitla and of course, Cherry would be her third mega hero after Pawan Kalyan and Allu Arjun.
