One Small Film Ate into Another

Many times, we have seen how star-struck big films eat into small films and deny the attention the small films should get. Today, something contrary to this happened. Two small films namely ‘Manu’ and ‘C/o Kancharapalem‘ that got the hype as path-breaking movies came to theatres today and one ate into the space of another.

‘C/o Kancharapalem’ got the hype from all the corners from special previews before the release itself. The credit goes to Rana as he was the one who lifted the buzz on the film. Otherwise, the noble effort would have gone waste. True to the buzz, the movie is receiving all the applause for the realistic portrayal without taking any cinematic liberties for commercial liability.

Another release ‘Manu’, a crowd-funded movie that beamed with confidence before the release has received mixed reviews for the three-hour long run-time and the final output. So, ‘C/o Kancharapalem’ is eating into the space of ‘Manu’ and literally leaving no space at all. It has taken over both the online and the social media space, at a go.
