Only Allu Arjun Is Ahead Of Charan

Mega duo, Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan delivered a mega dud with Acharya which has turned out to be one of the biggest box office disasters in Telugu cinema. But the future is also not that bright for Mega fans as their stalwarts Chiranjeevi and Pawan have lined up mediocre projects.

Chiranjeevi has two remakes – Bolaa Shankar, Godfather, and Chiru154, a Bobby directorial up for release next. Pawan Kalyan has Hari Hara Veera Mallu, a film with Harish Shankar, and a remake of Tamil film, Vinodhaya Sitham. Of the stars in the mega family, Ram Charan has the better line up as he will next be seen in RC15, a Shankar directorial.

But if there is one hero who has a better line up than Ram Charan in the mega family, it would be Allu Arjun. His next film Pushpa 2 is likely to make the most of the sequel advantage. Pushpa got a super wide reach following its OTT debut. So, the stakes are naturally high on Pushpa 2.

While the box office prospects of RC15 are yet to be determined, in case Pushpa 2 gets a very good word of mouth, it could be one of the highest grossing films of the year. So, as it stands only Allu Arjun is ahead of Ram Charan in the mega family as far as the forthcoming line up goes.
