Actress Shazahn Padamsee, best known for her role as girlfriend Rooba opposite Ram Charan in Orange and her performance in Housefull 2, is all set to get married to businessman Ashish Kanakia on June 5.
The couple will tie the knot in an intimate wedding ceremony at a five-star hotel in Mumbai, attended by close friends and family.
The celebration won’t end with the wedding alone. A grand sangeet ceremony and an after-party are scheduled for June 7 at the same venue, making it a joyous two-day affair for the couple and their loved ones.
Shazahn, daughter of noted theatre personalities Sharon Prabhakar and the late Alyque Padamsee, got engaged to Ashish in November 2024. The couple later celebrated their roka in a traditional Gujarati ceremony on January 20 this year.
The actress had shared beautiful moments from both events on social media, delighting fans and well-wishers.
As for their love story, Shazahn revealed that it was a childhood friend who introduced them. A casual dinner a few months later sparked a connection, and the couple began dating soon after.
Speaking about their bond, Shazahn once shared, “We laugh a lot together. He has a fun, playful side and is also very warm and caring. Despite our different backgrounds, our core values are aligned.”
