OTT Recommendation: Emotionally Stirring Ride

The Telugu OTT space has been running dry without too many worthy options to make for a must-watch. But as it appears, the wait comes to an end with Balagam which made its OTT debut on Amazon Prime yesterday.

The film had a fairly good run at the box office and particularly so in the Nizam region.

Now, following its OTT debut, Balagam is billed to be an emotionally stirring ride. The film has opened to largely positive reviews following its OTT debut.

While films like these might not necessarily cater to all sections of the audience, they’re better suited for the OTT audience and for home-viewing.

The end portion of the film is said to be an emotionally stirring one. For those who love rural dramas, this film can very well make for a good watch.

The film is directed be comedy actor Venu who turned director for the first time. Priyadarshi plays the central role in the Telangana-based social drama. It is streaming in Telugu on Amazon Prime Video.
