Will OG Return Before Pawan Kalyan-Surender Reddy Film?

After the disastrous performance of Ustaad Bhagat Singh, Pawan Kalyan fans have been eagerly waiting to know what his next move in cinema will be. So far, there has been no official announcement regarding the timelines of his upcoming projects, but strong industry buzz now suggests that two films are slowly moving forward behind the scenes. One is with director Surender Reddy, and the other is with Sujeeth in the form of OG 2.

According to ongoing reports, Pawan Kalyan is expected to team up next with Surender Reddy. Famous writer Vakkantham Vamsi is also reportedly involved in shaping the project. Industry insiders claim the duo is currently working carefully on the final draft and screenplay to suit Pawan Kalyan’s current image and fan expectations.

At the same time, another discussion creating huge excitement among fans is the possibility of They Call Him OG 2. Reports suggest Sujeeth has already begun early work on the sequel, which is tentatively being referred to as They Call Him OG 2 in trade circles. Sujeeth was supposed to work with Nani on Bloody Romeo but Nani’s ongoing film The Paradise is facing delays and Nani is in no mood to think about another film. He is completely dedicated to finishing Paradise to the best of his abilities first and then giving it a superb release across the world. That’s why Sujeeth has shifted his attention to OG 2.

The first film, OG, satisfied hardcore Pawan Kalyan fans because of its stylish action treatment and PK’s intense gangster character Ojas Gambheera, even though the movie struggled to break even. The film later gained some more reach after arriving on Netflix.

Because of that response, many fans strongly feel the OG universe still has huge potential for expansion.

What makes the current situation more interesting is that Pawan Kalyan now finds himself at a crucial stage in his film career. After the setback of Ustaad Bhagat Singh, fans expect him to return with stronger script selection and more focused projects rather than rushed commercial entertainers.
