Pawan Kalyan’s OG: Fans Trigger Dangerous Trend?

Pawan Kalyan’s OG is creating massive excitement as fans gear up for its release in just nine days. The frenzy has reached a new level with the auction of “first tickets” for premiere shows, sparking heated debates among supporters and critics.

In the United States, an NRI bought the first show ticket for Rs 5 lakhs, donating the amount to the Jana Sena Party. The gesture was praised by many. In Hyderabad’s Viswanath Theatre, another ticket was auctioned for Rs 1 lakh through Twitter (X) Spaces, with the proceeds also marked for donation. Fans in Tenali are preparing to start bidding at Rs 50,000.

While the initiative looks generous, concerns are emerging. Pawan Kalyan is not only a celebrated star but also the Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. Critics warn that such acts may be politically misinterpreted, giving rivals an opportunity to attack. Even close supporters argue that if the intent is to help Jana Sena, fans can contribute directly instead of tying it to OG.

Legal doubts are also surfacing since permissions for special shows are still pending. With the OG trailer expected soon, fans are being urged to celebrate the buzz around the film rather than engage in publicity stunts that might backfire later.
