Pawan Kalyan’s tsunami on twitter

Once Pawan joined the twitter platform, the number game also started comparing the magic figures that are being recorded. Within 30 hours of joining twitter, Pawan has got 107k followers and that it a record in Telugu Film Industry because no other celebrity reached 100,000 mark within such short time period. The first Twitter post of Pawan Kalyan has been retweeted by 11,000 people and 19,000 people favourited the post.

Comparing Pawan’s record, it was only Rajnikanth, who had reached 238k followers mark within 24 hours of opening the account. Rajni’s record broke Sachin’s all India record of reaching 1lakh followers within 24 hours. And coming to South Indian celebrities, it was only Pawan who got 90,000 followers within 24 hours and achieved the 107k mark within 30 hours.

Coming to the number of followers in South India, actor Sidharth stands at the top position with 1.33 million followers and Rajnikanth 2nd with 1.28 followers. Amongst the Tollywood celebrities, Mahesh Babu is on the top with 1.05 million followers. If the present trend on twitter continues, it wouldn’t be a surprise that Pawan might emerge to the top position with maximum number of followers in South India.
