Payal Admits Attending Vipassana Treatment

Payal Rajput, who grabbed attention with her bold debut in RX 100, later struggled to maintain the same impact.

Most of her films failed to leave a mark. Even Mangalavaram, which received some attention, did not perform strongly enough to be called a hit.

In a recent media interaction, Payal turned emotional and broke down on stage. Speaking about her health and personal struggles, she revealed that she attended a few months of Vipassana meditation in Jaipur.

Vipassana is a silent meditation practice focused on self observation and mental clarity.

She said the decision came after a sudden and deeply shocking moment in her life, her father being diagnosed with cancer. The situation was overwhelming and traumatic for both her and her mother.

Payal shared that she sought Vipassana as a way to cope with the emotional turmoil. While talking about it, she once again broke into tears, reflecting how deeply the experience affected her.

Her emotional response is a reminder that, beyond the screen image, personal bonds run deep.

Even someone known for bold roles carries the same vulnerabilities when faced with life changing moments within the family.
