Can Peddi Release on April 30 or Another Delay on Cards?

Among the pan India films releasing this year, Peddi stands out as one of the highly anticipated projects. Ram Charan’s films after RRR turned out to be big disappointments, but Peddi has created strong buzz. The main reason for this hype is the song “Chikiri.” The song went viral across the country and gave the film instant visibility among audiences of all languages.

Initially, the team planned to release Peddi on March 26. Later, they realized that completing the film by that time would be very difficult. The indirect clash with Dhurandhar 2 would also have hurt its box office prospects. Because of this, they postponed the release by about a month.

Recently, the makers released a new poster and officially announced April 30 as the release date. Even then, doubts remain about whether the film will actually release on that date, as the shooting is still not complete.

The team reportedly still needs more than a month to finish filming. First, they must complete the remaining shoot. After that, they need to handle post production work. Since this is a pan India film, they must dub the movie properly in four languages. Before that, they also need to finish the songs in multiple languages. Along with all this, they must complete the background score.

This is where music director AR Rahman becomes a key factor. He is known for taking a long time to perfect background scores and often spends months on BGM work. Even if the songs are already finished, the team is worried about whether Rahman can complete the background score and deliver the final output within a very short time after shooting ends.

The Ramzan month is starting soon on February 17, and Rahman usually does not prefer working during that period, which might create more problems for Peddi.

At present, the team is working under extremely tight schedules. Although they confidently announced April 30 as the release date, internal concerns remain about whether the film will be ready on time. Reports suggest that the team is especially nervous about the background score timeline and Rahman’s working pace.
