The film has minted as much as a total gross of $898,745, which is close to a million. It is now in the 24th position on the list of movies which made big in the overseas collections. Interestingly, the movie was released in limited theatres, but minting gold compared with big films.

It’s astonishing that the movie’s total gross till date is more than Allu Arjun’s blockbuster ‘Sarainodu’s collections, released this year. ‘Pelli Choopulu’ has surprised the trade not only in overseas but in the Telugu States as well. It’s like a ‘dream come true’ type film for every debutante director.
