Peppy but passable Babu Bangaram track

The first single track from Babu Bangaram, Mallela Vaanala is out. So how is the song? Did Ghibran reach the expectations?

Well, it’s a mixed bag. The arrangements and sound of the song has the music director’s touch all over. It feels peppy and yup on the surface with nice orchestration. However it lacks the magic in terms of tune to make it a memorable number. The opinion might change after multiple listens but clearly there is an underwhelming feeling after initial few listens.

Babu Bangaram is directed by Maruti. Ghibran of run Raja Run and Jil fame has given the music. The combination has created tremendous expectations on the album. Let’s wait for the other songs now.
