Petitions Against NOTA in Hyderabad High Court

Two Separate Petitions have been filed in the Hyderabad High Court against Vijay Deverakonda’s NOTA which is releasing on 5th of this month. Both the petitions were filed by Telangana Congress leaders. One petition asks the high court not to allow the makers to use NOTA as the film title and urged the court to refer the issue to the Election Commission.

The other petition demands the ban of the movie release until the completion of elections in Telangana as it is advocating people to vote to NOTA. Interestingly, the Censor formalities of the movie are also not complete yet giving rise to rumors that the Board has objected to some portions of the film.

Interestingly, the Censor Formalities of the film’s Tamil Version are complete and the movie has got U certificate there. The Worldwide Theatrical Rights of the movie were valued at a whopping 24 Crore. This is the highest ever in Vijay Deverakonda’s Career. NOTA is the first Bilingual in the actor’s career.
