NOTA Director’s Bold Confession on His Average Films

NOTA-Director's-Bold-Confession-on-His-Average-FilmsAnand Shankar, the young Tamil director who is coming to the Telugu audiences with his bilingual ‘NOTA‘ had a bold confession to make and we must agree that one must be man enough to agree with one’s own flaws and introspection is something that makes a person better not only on the personal front but also professionally.

Talking about his first two films ‘Arima Nambi’ and ‘Iru Mugan’, the young director accepts the shortcomings of those two films which fared decently in Tamil but they weren’t entirely a satisfying watch. Both the films belong to average to an above-average category and he honestly admitted the same and even analysed the flaws he had observed post the release of the movies.

He says that they were stylish and the plot was okay. But the emotion that connects to the local audiences was missing in both his films. There was no clue from where his protagonists came from in his previous movies. If he had worked on that emotional connection, they would have been better opined the sensible director. Hope, he had rectified that flaw in ‘NOTA’ with Vijay Deverakonda in the lead.
