Pirated CDs being watched post ban!

There has been a lot of buzz in the Pakistani box office regarding the recently released Indian movie ‘Phantom’. However, despite the film being banned in the country, there seems to be a lot of demand by movie watchers there. We hear that the movie buffs in Pakistan have been watching pirated versions of it and after its success at the Indian box office there has been a higher demand for the movie.

It was reported that the movie watchers have been asking for better copies, having a good quality print. A source speculated that the reason for all this demand might be because “there was a lot of curiosity over the movie being banned” or it could simply be because people genuinely wanted to watch the film.

The director of the film said that while piracy badly affects their business, they’re taking the major demand as a compliment.
