Horror-thriller Pizza 2 is getting ready for release soon in Tamil and Telugu, and its director Deepan says that the film has no connection to Pizza. He says that the name Pizza was attached to the film just to cash in on the popularity of the Pizza franchise.
He said that the idea was to make a film called Villa, but when he had approached the producer with the script, he insisted that the add the Pizza tag as it will help the film get some visibility.
He says sound will accentuate the tension in the film, which is sure to impress the audiences. The film features Ashok Selvan and Ashrita Shetty in the lead roles.
