‘pk’ New Controversy: Funds traceable to Dubai & ISI

While there is growing support for ‘pk’ from across the world, in equal measure, the film is getting engulfed in controversies. And the fresh controversy regarding ‘pk’ are the allegations made on the makers regarding the monetary funding of the film. BJP leader Subramanya Swamy erupted a fresh controversy on ‘pk’ by questioning the financing on his twitter account, “ Who financed the ‘PK’ film? According to my sources it is traceable to Dubai and ISI. DRI must investigate.”

This tweet has erupted fresh chain of controversies and all over the country, there is growing unrest on the film while some religious institutions are staging protests and even attacking theatres’ ticket windows and tearing off the posters disrupting the screening of the film. Right from the time Aamir Khan’s first look of ‘pk’ was released, the movie is consistently into controversies.

Some even are questioning why only Hindu religion and gods are targetted while the actor’s own religion isn’t questioned. After the film’s release, there was a lot of support from many celebrities and even BJP’s veteran leader, LK Advani watched the special screening of the film and released a press note in support of the film. But Subramanya Swamy of the same party is presently alleging that ISI (Inter Services Intelligence) has funded ‘pk’. Seems ‘pk’ is going to kindle more such controversies.
