PK sets new benchmark for Indian movies

PK has set new records worldwide and how! The film has steamrolled to become the highest grosser of all time in Bollywood on New Year and now it is set to create a new benchmark for all the films to follow.

PK is crossing 300 Cr landmark of box office collections making it the first movie to achieve this mark in Hindi and Indian cinema at large. Once again an Aamir Khan film has done this which has made the star invincible at the box office. Another major landmark the film is expected to set up is the 10 Million Dollar gross in US.

Aamir Khan has in the past had created the 100 Cr and 200 Cr benchmarks with Ghajini and 3 Idiots respectively. Even his Dhoom 3 was the first to reach the 250 Cr mark in India. Even after all these landmarks and craze at box office, the actor seems to be in no hurry to sign a new film cashing in on this craze.
