Bhumika, who is now a mother, considers her return to the silver screen as her second innings. Having earned some mixed reviews for her performance in Ravi Babu’s Laddu Babu, the actress is determined to continue acting but she wants mature roles as she feels she’s not heroine material anymore.

She said that she’s currently listening to several scripts but she’s not happy with the roles she’s being offered. She said she wouldn’t mind waiting but she would only sign a project if she’s completely convinced with her role.
