Plot: Karthi’s love with Premam heroine revealed!

While the Telugu and Tamil audiences are eagerly waiting for Karthi-Nagarjuna’s bilingual ‘Oopiri’, Karthi is busy doing the promotions for the movie, completing his portions for his another Tamil movie ‘Kashmora’ and growing his hair back for his untitled project with Mani ratnam.

Karthi is going to play a pilot in the film, an NRI pilot…to be precise. His heroine Sai Pallavi of Malayalam blockbuster ‘Premam’ fame will be playing the role of a doctor. They both fall in love during one of Karthi’s trip to India as a pilot.

This news came out even before the film is slated to go on floors. Mani Ratnam would probably begin shooting for the film from this June on wards. Karthi was once Mani Ratnam’s assistant director and now he turned his hero.

The director wants his hero to look slimmer and hence we can see a younger looking Karthi beside Sai Pallavi and hope for a Mani Ratnam’s brand of subtle romance very soon.
