A police case was filed today on one of the top directors of Telugu Film Industry Puri Jagannath regarding a land worth Rs.5 crores in Jubilee Hills area. The original owners of the land have filed a complaint on the director in the CCS police station. And as a precautionary measure, Puri’s wife Lavanya filed an anticipatory bail petition in the Nampally court.
Owners of a site have lodged complaint that the director and his wife sold a controversial land to them while Puri and Lavanya alleged that the builder cheated on them regarding the land in dispute. The case is filed primarily on Puri’s wife Lavanya. Hence she is the one who moved the bail petition in Nampally court. Further details on this case are awaited.
