Pooja Hegde recently suffered one of the roughest patches of her career, with consecutive flops like Radhe Shyam, Acharya, Beast, and Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan tarnishing her box office record.
She even lost Guntur Kaaram to Sreeleela, sparking speculation about her fading stardom. However, Pooja has bounced back impressively, lining up several promising films that could mark a strong comeback.
Her first release will be Deva with Shahid Kapoor, directed by Malayalam filmmaker Rosshan Andrrews. This action thriller, made with high technical values, will see Pooja performing action sequences, showcasing a new side of her talent.
Pooja will also star in Retro, Suriya’s next film with director Karthik Subbaraj. After the Kanguva disaster, Suriya aims to bounce back, and Pooja is reportedly playing a pivotal role in this retro-themed film.
Another exciting project is a film with Dulquer Salmaan, who is riding high after the success of Lucky Baskhar. Directed by debutant Ravi and produced by SLV Cinemas, the makers of Dasara, the film is expected to be a notable addition to her career.
Thalapathy 69, starring Vijay, also promises to be a blockbuster as it’s anticipated to be Vijay’s final project before retirement.
She has also signed a lighthearted comedy with Varun Dhawan, titled Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai, and will appear in Kanchana 4 with Raghava Lawrence, part of the hit horror-comedy franchise.
With several more projects in discussion, Pooja Hegde’s career is on the upswing, signaling a remarkable comeback from what seemed like a dead end.
