Poorly Made Telugu Biopic on the Way

The teaser of ‘Ghantasala’ made its way to the small screens giving us the feel that it must be one of those biopics that were poorly made. The quality of the teaser was very low and even the casting in the biopic is unexciting with singer Krishna Chaitanya playing the title role.

Like Bollywood caught up with the of making biopics quite regularly in one way or the other, even the Telugu Film Industry has caught up with the same after ‘Mahanati‘ infused great confidence in the filmmakers who are keen on making biopics. There are more than a couple of biopics in the making.

Among them, ‘Ghantasala’ is the most unexciting one. The teaser has references and glimpses of the recent biopics including ‘Mahanati’ that had been blockbusters. The end part has the actual stuff about ‘Ghantasala’. There aren’t any moments in the teaser that could excite the audiences. Don’t you think the story of one of the greatest singers of South Film Industry must be told in an interesting way?
