Popular Tamil MD replacing DSP?

Anirudh Ravicharan is without any doubt the hottest music director in the Tamil film industry currently. The young music director is slowly making moves towards the Telugu film industry too with the upcoming Ram Charan film.

What one might not be realizing here is that the music director is slowly becoming an alternative replacement to our own Telugu music director Devi Sri Prasad. Two of the projects which looked almost confirm to DSP are now reportedly taken over by Anirudh. The bigger one among the two is undoubtedly third part of Singham series. Devi has over the years become synonymous with this series but the makers have reportedly left him out of the new film that will go onto sets later in the year.

Would same thing happen in Telugu as well if Ram Charan’s My Name is Raju too becomes a success? Or will it be just another additional to choices available like SS Thaman? We will know in due course.
