Shameless Defense On Nandi Awards

Nandi Awards is one of the more prestigious film awards presentation done by the government of Andhra Pradesh but this has been going for a Ross ever since Jagan was voted to power.

When asked about it, the YCP government’s representatives have been alleging that the previous TDP government gave the Nandi awards only to Kamma people and they don’t want to repeat it.

Now, in a new defence, YCP’s Posani Krishnamurali has stated “Jagan asked me to hold Nandi in a transparent manner. But sadly, soon after he came to power, there was Covid which took up two years. And then, we had to focus on public welfare. We didn’t have time for Nandi”

Posani added he will hold Nandi awards on Jagan’s behalf only after he is fully equipped with time and resources. He said he wouldn’t follow the example of TDP government of favouring one community.

Netizens are now commenting that the YCP government’s defence on Nandi awards is as shameless as it can get. They’re pointing out that the prestigious Nandi awards were shelved, and on top of that, YCP is simply pushing the shameless narrative on TDP government with caste remark, which is hitting below the belt.
