Possessed by Kamal, Venky to shock with silence

Victory Venkatesh has surely take a U turn regarding his career in Tollywood and expermenting with the characters that will suit his age. The first attempt in the name of ‘Drushyam’ proved to be successful. Though initially the audience couldn’t digest Venky playing father to two teenagers, slowly the movie picked up because of its content. Venky himself revealed that he got the inspiration from Kamal Haasan who suggested him to take a bold step to do variety of roles coming out of conventional characters a hero does always in the name of entertainment.

Venky’s next movie ‘Gopala Gopala’ will show Venky in a father’s role. Shriya is playing his wife while a child artist is roped in to play his son for the film. According to the grapevine, after ‘Gopala Gopala’, Venky’s next movie would be a silent movie like Kamal Haasan’s silent movie ‘Pushpaka Vimanam’ directed by Singeeta Srinivas. ‘Pushpaka Vimanam’ was an experimental movie and it won a lot of acclaim for the art of making a silent film with a versatile actor like Kamal Haasan. Reportedly ‘Pilla Zamindar’ fame, director Ashok is working on the script and nothing is made official yet. Seems Kamal’s inspiration on Venky is continuing and that is really going to do wonders in Venky’s future in Tollywood.
