Popular spoof comedian in Tamil Nadu who likes to call himself Powerstar Srinivasan is back in news for comparing himself to yesteryear hotty and item song specialist Silk Smita. He is popular for how he promotes himself by portraying himself in a comic way.

In a recent audio launch event of his upcoming movie ‘Vaanga Vaanga’, this Powerstar said that some film makers approached him to do a special song in their film willing to pay Rs.8 lakh for one song. But when he demanded more, then they said they used to pay such big amount to Silk Smita.

This is the reason he compares himself to male Silk Smita. Naturally the audience were entertained by his hilarious speech. We know late Silk Smita was famous for her dance numbers and there used to be a time when only item girls used to do such songs. Times had changed, and now everyone who is interested is doing item songs.
