Adipurush Is All About Realism

Young Rebel Star Prabhas is making his debut with the Om Raut directed Adipurush, which is being produced by T-Series and Retrophiles. Recently it was announced that Kriti Sanon would be playing the role of Sita and that Sunny Singh would be playing the role of Lakshman in Adipurush. The shooting of Adipurush is currently underway, at a brisk pace in Mumbai. All sorts of precautions are said to be taken on set, to make sure that none of the cast or crew members come in contact with Coronavirus.

Speaking about Adipurush, producer Bhushan Kumar recently said that Adipurush is a different take on Ramayan, but that it is Ramayan only, at its heart. He said that the film is being made with such realism, especially the war sequence and the effects, that Indian cinema has never seen before. He also said that he can’t wait for the world to see Adipurush.

Saif Ali Khan, who is playing Raavan in Adipurush, shot for a few of his portions earlier. He is yet to shoot for his combination scenes with Prabhas, and this might take place during the next schedule.

Prabhas is expected to start shooting for another schedule of Salaar, from April 20th, in Hyderabad, after he completes the current schedule of Adipurush in Mumbai. Both Salaar and Adipurush are scheduled to release in 2022.
