Telugu superstars Prabhas, Allu Arjun, and NTR Jr. are gearing up for major pan-Indian ventures in the coming years, targeting the Hindi market with ambitious projects.
Prabhas has a packed schedule with Raja Saab, Fauji, Spirit, Salaar 2, Kalki 2, and Bakasura.
Fauji is a period war film, while Spirit, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, is a contemporary cop thriller. Salaar 2 will begin in 2026 once Prashanth Neel completes Dragon. Bakasura, helmed by Prashanth Verma, adds a supernatural touch to Prabhas’ diverse lineup.
Among these, Raja Saab and Kalki 2 lack the hype usually associated with a Prabhas film.
Allu Arjun is set to collaborate with Atlee on an alternate-universe film, scheduled to start production in August 2025 for a 2027 release. He’s also working with Trivikram on a mythological period drama.
Meanwhile, Allu Arjun is exploring offers from Yash Raj Films and Sanjay Leela Bhansali but hasn’t finalized those projects yet. Since details are still unclear, it’s difficult to gauge which will be his strongest project.
NTR is currently shooting for Dragon with Prashanth Neel. After War 2 with Hrithik Roshan in August 2025, he will return to Dragon in 2026.
He’s also teaming up with Jailer director Nelson Dilipkumar for an action film set to begin in late 2026.
Additionally, Devara 2 is in the works, likely starting once Dragon is complete. NTR is also in talks for a two-part project with Hi Nanna director Shouryuv.
Devara 2 seems to be the weak link in NTR’s lineup.
Ram Charan is lagging behind in this pan-India race. Especially after Game Changer’s disaster, he has lost much of the goodwill he earned with RRR.
He now needs a strong film that can resonate with the pan-Indian audience before building up to bigger projects.
