Prabhas Must Be Cautious, It’s Not Working

Prabhas' Fauzi needs stronger buzz

Prabhas is one of the biggest superstars in Indian cinema and there’s generally a lot riding on each of his films. So the responsibility will always be on him to deliver big time with all his films. This backfire badly in the case of Raja Saab, and he is looking to make a comeback with Fauzi later this year.

In this connection, a new poster of this periodic action film was released to publish the release date last week.

This poster had adequate visual appeal associated with it as it featured Prabhas in a bloodshed appearance. This poster travel reasonably well on social media and there was a campaign that was run to propagate it further as well.

But when it comes to the actual cultural impact and the mass penetration into the public, this is where Fauzi has been struggling. The earlier released video could not create much impact and this poster also got shunted out in a day or two.

For a poster of a film, featuring a superstar as big as Prabhas, it is bound to have endless commercial appeal that can work miracles. The posters of Pushpa 2 and Peddi are examples of this.

This worked out reasonably well in the case of earlier films of Prabhas, but not necessarily in this particular scenario. This film need something more than ordinary now to stay relevant with the promotional campaign and then go on to actually build a solid enough campaign.
