Prabhas’ Fauzi teaser received a mixed response on social media, with criticism over its visual quality, CGI, and certain logical aspects. Now, producer Ravi Shankar has revealed that the birthday glimpse was not what the team had originally planned.

Speaking at the success meet of 418, Ravi Shankar said technical issues forced the team to switch to Plan B at the last minute. He also reiterated that Fauzi would release on March 19, 2027, with the team aiming to complete work a month before the release.

However, the date itself is already a postponement from the film’s original schedule. Fans are now questioning whether the makers can deliver the full film on time if they struggled to prepare a short teaser as planned.

According to an inside report, Prabhas sensed the outcome of one of his pan-India films soon after its teaser was released. This time, he is said to be unwilling to take chances with Fauzi. The report claims he wants to allow more time for the film, carry out reshoots if necessary, and check the output again before bringing it to theatres.

That approach could put further pressure on the schedule. With March 19 approaching, the team still needs to complete the remaining shoot and post-production work. Director Hanu Raghavapudi is known for focusing on quality, but the makers must balance that with the deadline.

There is also an important financial angle. Reports claim Prabhas has given Fauzi’s rights to two producers to compensate for previous losses from his films. His direct financial gain from Fauzi is reportedly limited.

This makes the film’s success more important than the money he earns from it. Prabhas needs Fauzi to succeed and restore audience confidence. The real challenge is delivering a quality film without missing another release date.
