The release trailer of The Raja Saab received a much better response compared to the film’s earlier promotional material. Along with the pre-release event, the new trailer has clearly boosted excitement and brought the film back into discussion in a positive way.
Director Maruthi has also begun actively promoting the film and sharing details through interviews. In one such interview, he revealed that the climax alone runs for nearly 35 to 40 minutes.
Adding to the buzz, inside reports suggest that a major hospital sequence appears in the pre-climax portion of The Raja Saab. Industry talk indicates that Prabhas’s performance in this scene, along with Maruthi’s visual treatment, CG work, and a key twist, could stand out as a big highlight. These reports have further raised excitement around the film’s final act.
At the pre-release event, Prabhas himself praised the climax, pushing expectations even higher. He remarked that Maruthi seemed to have written the climax “with a machine gun, not a pen,” hinting at its impact.
However, such hype naturally brings caution. In 2024, Jr. NTR praised the climax of Devara to the skies before its release, which ultimately failed to deliver and left audiences terribly disappointed. Now Prabhas has done something similar by hyping The Raja Saab’s climax.
What makes this case interesting is that Prabhas did not publicly hype the climaxes of his recent films like Salaar or Kalki 2898 AD before their release. His open praise this time feels unusual and also has created curiosity about what Maruthi has cooked this time.
NTR’s judgment on Devara turned out to be a misfire. Now, all eyes are on The Raja Saab to see whether Prabhas’s confidence in its climax truly pays off with the audience.
