The clash between Shah Rukh Khan’s “Dunki” and Prabhas’ “Salaar” has created ripples in the Indian film industry, heralded as the biggest clash ever.
While Shah Rukh Khan is wasting no time revving up the hype machine, releasing teasers and fresh posters for Dunki, the Salaar team has remained shrouded in silence, causing Prabhas’ fans to grow increasingly anxious.
The vacuum of information from Hombale Films, the producers of “Salaar,” has fueled rampant speculation on social media.
Whispers of a potential postponement have taken root, and one prominent Prabhas fan account even suggested that if there are no updates by Diwali, “Salaar” might be rescheduled to March 2024.
In response, Prabhas’ fervent followers have taken to Twitter, trending #UselessHombaleFilms to voice their frustration against the banner for not giving any updates and creating uncertainty around the film.
Salaar is a very crucial film for Prabhas. After a series of underperformers, he has to prove all over again that he is still the biggest pan-India star.
