Prabhudeva enjoys an indisputable journey in Bollywood so far. All the three movies he made so far there – Wanted, Rowdy Rathore and Ramaiya Vastavaiya raked a moolah at the box office. Interestingly all of them are remakes of Telugu films, for the first time he attempted a straight movie in Hindi with ‘R..Raj Kumar’ with Shahid Kapoor in the lead role. The movie released today but failed to impress critics and audience.
Bollywood Critic and Trade Analyst, Taran Adarsh opined that R..Raj Kumar is the weakest Prabhu Deva’s film till date. Remaining critics have also voiced the same opinion. However, the movie opened good in all the territories and is expected to do well at least for the first weekend. We will have to see how the figures will fare!
