Prakash Raj Lands Himself in Another Controversy

Prakash Raj isn’t naive to controversies whether it is films or politics or else social issues. This time, he rounded himself in a religious matter that is related to the majority culture in the country. He had objections to Ramleela that happens during Dussehra.

He equates celebrating Ram Leela to allowing a child to watch porn. Prakash Raj had severe objections to the actors arriving in a helicopter with Ram, Sita and Lakshman makeup. ‘It’s not our culture,’ shouted angry Prakash Raj at the interviewer who tried to argue.

Moreover, he added that Ram Leela is kind of instilling fear among the minorities. This wasn’t the first he expressed controversial opinions on different subjects. Prakash thinks that this culture is dangerous to society.

“I understand them going to temple and worshipping their idol. But why this Natak (Ram Leela) in public?” This one seems to be an illogical argument as he targeted a tradition that was practised in the North Indian States since times immemorial.
